When the two ends of a mirroring line extend for infinity, they may form a circle. Nature and law, existence and disappearance, instant and eternity, forms and meaning correspond to each other respectively, morphing into the two ends of the line. After four seasons of creation, LELALES has been constructing the unknown spiritual base point on the known. The collision and intersection of different circles symbolize both the past and the emerging present.tual core with the visible graphics identified by LELALES.
In the new Spring Summer series, LELALES reinterprets time and space of the “first circle” through the accumulated time—not only depicts pine needles as they are, their withering and falling, but also traces back through layers of overlapping time and space. Tracing back for the sake of advancing, progressing so as to return. Time and space overlap, all hanging on the line: between the known and unknown there is no difference in order, as each remains where it belongs. In LELALES Recursion collection, the designer recombines the past and future at the two ends of the mirroring line, which embrace each other meanwhile update iteratively, outlining the invisible spiritual core with the visible graphics identified by LELALES.
